This kitchen began as dark, Tuscan-styled space, closed off from the family room. We kept the existing perimeter cabinets and painted them, and knocked down the wall between family room and kitchen to open it all up. We designed custom double islands, and installed a custom pantry door and vent hood. All materials were updated to bring in more light and make the space more functional for hosting large gatherings.
