This kitchen in North Richland Hills is small, and the dark stained cabinets made it feel even smaller. Because our clients wanted to change the look and feel of their space on a budget, we left many of the kitchen’s existing elements. They decided to keep their existing hardwood floors and wall paint because it was in other rooms of their home. We painted the perimeter cabinets and kept the existing countertops and backsplash. On the island, we removed the bar top, installed a new granite countertop, and added decorative paneling around the base. These small changes really brightened up the room!
